Safeguarding at St Wilfs
At St Wilfrid’s the PCC, Wardens and Clergy are committed to doing all we can to ensure that the church and its various events comply with safeguarding best practice. This goes further than requiring up-to-date DBS checks on all persons in positions of authority or who have contact with children and vulnerable adults. We are seeking to develop and maintain a culture that is aware of the issues at stake, where people have the relevant training to be part of the solution rather than the problem, and where they know whom to contact and where to look to find helpful information.
We subscribe to the safeguarding policy of the Diocese of Chichester. (Click HERE to access the policy and other useful documents.)
